Pull Rods is an important device to transmit braking force in bogie’s braking fulcrum device. According to the position of the pull rods in bogie, it could be divided into middle pull rod and lower pull rod. The pull rod normally adopts an integral forging structure, and the splint at each ends are drilled with 3 holes. The full road, cooperated with fixed leverage, adjust the L value of gate adjuster. The full rod normally made of 42CrMo, which has good strength, toughness, high temperature creep strength and lasting strength. The splints are made of 35# steel high quality carbon structural steel, which has good plasticity and appropriate strength, good process performance.

Application:
The braking fulcrum device of K2 and K6 type bogie is composed of left and right combined brake beams, middle pull rods, fixed levers, fixed lever fulcrums, swimming levers, high-friction composition brake shoes, and wear-resistant pin sleeves of various specifications. The bushing material is an O-Bay ductile iron wear-resistant bushing, and the round pin is a 45-gauge steel quenched round pin.
And some other bogie’s braking fulcrum device adopts lower pull rod type braking fulcrum. This type braking device comprises a braking beam, a lever and a lower pull rod. The fixed lever and the swing lever are at a 90° angle to the horizontal plane. The integral cast brake beam is adopted, and the brake beam is equipped with abrasion sleeve at both ends. The brake pad thickness is 50mm, and the high phosphorus gate pad is used to improve the thermal conductivity of the brake pad and reduce the influence of the ambient climate on the instantaneous friction coefficient of the brake pad. The brake beam struts are fitted with Ao-Bey wear bushings.
